Okay, so the papers and the surveys are screaming that the public wants GMA out. Mind you, I'm no big fan of GMA. Pero let's cut to the chase na lang. Fast forward na lang tayo to 2012.
The people of the Philippines were successful in removing GMA. The new President of the Republic, thanks to the avid endorsements of Erap and Cory during the 2010 elections is Jojo Binay.
Let's just suppose that scandal hits and President Binay is embroiled in a similar situation as what the lady in Malacanang is currently facing. Do we actually think people can rally in the streets of Makati ever?
Rally na lang sa Quezon Memorial Circle siguro ano?
Forgive me for this moment of sarcasm. Sometimes we just need to be shaken a bit.

ReplyDeleteLike you, I'm no fan of GMA. But it is really ridiculous to go through another People Power just to install another crook in the country's top post. And then what?
ReplyDeletei feel like people power is the nation's version of MS Word's "Undo" button. then Cut & Paste naman ng pilipnas and bagong administration. hay.
