Inspired by lanadiva's posts on Gloria, Dapitan, and Dakak, I dug up my photos of these memorable places.

Time flies indeed when you're having fun.  It only seemed like yesterday when my wife and I were newly married and we took off on a road trip from Bacolod to Dumaguete via the Kanlaon mountain range for a honeymoon in Dakak.

Upon reaching Dumaguete, we left our car at the hotel and took a fast catamaran to Dapitan.  It was there that the Dakak Resort had picked us up for a less than an hour's land trip to Dakak Resort itself.

Photos shown here come from the non-digital era.

It was also an era where our waistlines were smaller and we hardly tipped the weighing scales. LOL!

I post these because our DaisyPath widget on this blog's homepage clocks the time that we've been together as 9 years, 11 months and 4 weeks!

Yup, in a few days time, we'll be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary!

So many beautiful stories to tell.

About Dakak.

About 10 years of marriage.

Photo here shows us on board the fast craft from Dapitan and taking us home to Dumaguete.

We had to take this picture which we found to be very symbolic given that we were married on the 100th anniversary of Philippine Independence.

Yes, Centennial Wedding indeed!

Shot on the left shows us sharing some light moments back home in Bacolod after the Dakak trip.  In photo with us are Pastor Roy Lopez and the early members of Victory Bacolod.

Being the first couple to be married in VCF Bacolod, our rented house in 8th Street became a favorite hangout of the brethren.

With June 12 coming around in a few days, I'd have to say, I'm ready and very much excited for another 10 years of God's goodness!

If Dakak kicked off the first 10 years, we'll make sure to be there this year...this time with 2 kids in tow :-)
