I want to write a story. A story set in the land of sugar. A story that embodies idyllic living as practiced by Negrenses. At the end of it though, I want it to be a story with purpose. A story for children to realize that money is not everything and that material things are...well, immaterial. In the end I hope that this could help the next generation of Negrenses value what is really essential. And perhaps, even their parents who read the story will begin to realize that status in the small town is not everything.
