Another year has passed and it is summer again.  Spent the morning caddying my son at the Philippine qualifiers for this year's edition of the Callaway Junior World Golf Championships.  Was the only caddy-daddy in our flight.  Everyone else had their pro in tow.  That's ok though.  Years from now when a trophy becomes irrelevant in the light of other achievements, what will remain is a boy's memory that his father caddied him while he was young.

Likewise, perhaps when I am old and grey, I can tell my grandson, "You know, one of the best experiences I ever had in my entire life, was caddying your father when he was 7 years old". ;-)
