Adaptation is done by global brands since the advertising is really the property of the brand. So we see foreign-developed ads "adapted" locally. This is the first time I've heard of a concept for one 'brand"adapted by another brand care and their common denominator is the the advertising agency. What do I think? They copied the idea. By the way, the original brand, Ricardo Lopez Murphy of Argentina ran for the presidency and lost. So much for effectivity of the ad huh?
Well...some agency networks like to build their image as an award winning group. I personally want to be known as a branding builder than award winner. ,)

ReplyDeleteI didn't know that copying ideas within a network is encouraged. I remember that each member of the network is responsible to be original and fresh.
